Longest. Month. Ever.
School is finishing up, summer is so close I can smell it, and the day seems like it never ends! We spent our first “real” summer night out in the yard having a water fight with the kids this past weekend. It was GLORIOUS!
I am LIVING for the days of no bedtimes and slow(er) mornings!
I feel like I am working non-stop to get Live Bold Mama ready to launch and I am SO excited about the chance to set new goals, develop strategies to reach those goals, and get motivated to work the strategies in the process! I’ve got a HUGE vision for Live Bold Mama and without goals to keep me on track, I will never get there.
It’s kind of daunting, to say the least… But as a motivated, determined, full-of-all-the-mama energy-I-need-to-make-it-happen kinda woman… It’s totally doable!
Keep reading if you want to see how I’m getting it done!
First, a short story.
I have officially been working on Live Bold Mama for about a month now. And I’ve developed a pretty solid idea of the direction I’m imagining this little corner of the internet world to go in.
These are details for another blog post, so I won’t go into that now. But I will say that for once, I feel like I can bring value to the mama world. And I am grateful that I get the opportunity to share what I’ve experienced to help others!
Let’s talk about the Power Vision Worksheet
This is the secret to my success with planning, creating momentum, and reaching my goals! Keep reading and I will show you how to do it too!
Start with your big vision
Setting a goal for yourself requires the ability to imagine the end of your journey! The big vision is usually something that will take place in one to five years!
With this in mind, you want to make sure that your big vision is realistic. Make it something that you can actually achieve in that time frame! AND make it something that is worth all the time, energy, and effort you will put into each step along the way!
Next, figure out what BHAG’s (big, hairy, audacious goals) you need to set in order to make your vision a reality!
BHAG’s are goals that have deadlines.
Ask your self what needs to be accomplished to make your vision a reality, write it down, and don’t forget to give it a deadline! A goal without a deadline is just a dream. 😉
Then, we get to move on to my favorite part! Setting small, attainable, monthly goals that give you quick-wins along the way and keep you motivated to make your vision a reality!
These monthly goals are small parts of the BHAG’s that make up your overall vision!
Lastly, we get to breakdown the monthly goals into daily tasks!
SO! If my big vision is to have this incredible resource area and membership site for mamas who want to build their confidence and step into their calling as a Work at Home Mom, I need to create and market a signature course, create a few value-packed pieces of digital content, maybe host a couple of webinars, focus on building my email list (if you aren’t on it, click here!), share some free printables, and a TON of bite-sized, valuable, nuggets of free content!
See how easy it was to create a plan to reach my BIG vision for Live Bold Mama?? I would encourage you to use this strategy every time you set a new vision for your life and business! So manageable and SIMPLE to do! 🙂
Don’t forget to grab the Power Vision Worksheet to help you bring your vision to life! I am confident it will bless you! 🙂
